Aside from the wonderful, rich vibrancy of the immediate environment, Suburbia boasts what is arguably Singapore's most legendary and wondrous tree. This iconic Ficus Tree lent its name to the erstwhile Monorail Station which is now the very spot where Suburbia offers diners the nation's tastiest morsels and most luxuriant ambiance. | The beautifully realized venue is a two-storey one, of which the ground level leads from the lustrous indoor area onto the al fresco timber. The wine bar, with its spectacular list of New and Old World wines, adjoins the ground-level eatery. Even though you can expect nothing less than stylish elegance, albeit one which speaks to an understated sense of refinement, the ground floor is better disposed to convivial dining. It has a capacity for about 150 persons, while the upstairs dining area, with space for around 70, is more intimately proportioned. The upper level is more secluded and romantic, offering the ideal milieu for special dinners and gatherings which require a more exclusive quality. On the upper level, guests will also find Suburbia's VIP room, which is ideal for private bridal preparation or, if the weather decides for you, as an ;lovely alternative venue for your solemnization.
